The Office of Administration is organized into four major components:
Bureau of Human Resources
This bureau, directed by Marguerite V. Daniels, serves as the agency's human resources office, including recruiting staff, administering employee benefits, labor relations, career management, and employee development programs. Information on Employment at the RRB is also provided.
Under the direction of Michael P. Freeman, Public Affairs conducts the RRB’s external communications program and is responsible for media relations, congressional inquiries, and digital/web engagement. Public Affairs also issues press releases and produces a variety of publications and informational materials about the agency’s benefit programs.
The Division of Acquisition Management is supervised by Paul Ahern. This division has primary responsibility for managing the agency's procurement and contracting activities (including selection, award, administration, and close-out), telecommunications, and accountable property management.
Real Property Management
The Division of Real Property Management is supervised by Scott L. Rush. This division has primary responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the headquarters facility. The division is also responsible for managing the agency's mail, files and records storage, supply, and printing activities.
